Jack Pellis is caring on the tradition set for by his father Tom, these guidelines have been the foundation of their family-owned and operated business for over two generations. Meet The Team at Pellis Construction

John "Jack" M. Pellis - President

Jack Pellis' love of architecture and passion for the building industry brought him back to the family business in 1986. After graduating from Duquesne University, he knew that Pellis Construction could not only be the leader in the home building industry but that he could help bring a creative touch to every Pellis project.


Jack is proud to work with each customer individually during the entire building process. From the initial consultation to the site visit, design and final pricing, Jack walks the customer through every step of their home buying journey. He knows the key to great relationships is listening to the customer. His keen sense of design, scale and attention to detail make Jack invaluable to the Pellis team. When a customer works with Jack, they know their home plan will be tastefully executed and perfectly fit their lifestyle needs.

Thomas Mesich - Project Manager

Tom Mesich is second to none when it comes to the technical knowledge of the construction trade. Whether it is a group of villas in midtown or your own private retreat from the city, Tom has done it all. With over 40 years' experience, he has earned the respect of homeowners, employees, and subcontractors within the community. He monitors each job site personally and ensures that every detail is done according to code. With Tom, you'll never spend one sleepless night wondering if your home will be done on time and within your budget.   

Renea Morton - Sales Consultant

As your sales consultant for Pellis Communites I will focus on helping you find the right community and floorplan to fit your needs.  Working exclusively for Pellis Construction since 2008, I specialize in building  and design, giving you, the home buyer, the help and direction you need to make the process easy and enjoyable.   My office is located on site in our Fairfield community.  Feel free to visit our decorated model for information. Carla Pellis - Business Manager

Carla Pellis, Jack's wife, is the newest member of our team and will be responsible for all things financial. She is also a Duquesne University graduate, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Carla is a CPA and currently working on a Master's degree in Management-Operational Excellence at St. Vincent College. This area of study provides the tools necessary to minimize waste, improve efficiency and deliver the highest value to customers. A perfect fit for what we do at Pellis Homes!

Jan Horner - Kitchen and Bath Design

Jan Horner is the head of our Kitchen and Bath Design Department.  She is integral to ensuring the level of superior design and customer service you can come to expect with Pellis Construction.  Jan makes it her personal mission to be sure she educates each client about all available products and design options so they can make the best decision for their project goals and budget.  Having a passion for kitchen design, she enjoys the challenge to create beautiful kitchens that provide functional solutions for her clients.   

Brian Orgovan - Project Manager

Brian Orgovan's ability to multitask, time manage, and his fine attention to every little detail makes him a great addition to the team.  With over 20 years experience, he has managed projects ranging from a single family custom home to a multi-million dollar commercial building.  His hands-on approach starts from the first day of site work thru the last day of completion of your job.  He works closely with each and every client to ensure the job is done to the highest standards.  His dedication and hard working attitude makes him a vital part in helping to get your project done correctly and on time.   

Randy Foringer - Residential Designer

Randy Foringer is our in-house Residential Designer.  He has been designing custom homes and small commercial projects for over the past 18 years.  His eye for detail and ability to envision beforehand helps to assure your project will have the visual appeal as well as the functionality you are looking for in your finished design.  His background in cost management also plays a vital role in keeping your project on time and on budget.  As Randy always says:  “Anything from a small remodel to an addition - maybe a commercial building or a large custom home...…if you can dream it, we can design it.”
